Stacked Deck is a short film for the My RØDE Reel 2015 competiton. The short is a Western/Drama set in Phoenix, Arizona in the 1920's.
As the protagonist searches for his brother who's been missing in the Arizona mountains, he struggles with heat exhaustion, and the glimmer of hope that his brother might be alive.
The short film deals with the questions of life and death, and God. Often times it seems that in life, the odds are against you. Life can even feel like an unlucky poker hand, but there is always hope, and for those who believe in God, prayer.
